With a high value placed on tomorrow's generations Walker Industries supports many educational endeavours.  We proudly support post secondary education by donating funds and equipment.

Niagara College
Walker Industries has been a major supporter of Niagara College and Niagara College Foundation.  We have donated Laboratory Equipment for use in their Environmental Instructional programs; funds for the "Niagara Bi-National Education Partnership"; and a significant contributor to their Capital Campaign to renovate their Welland Campus to build their new Glendale Campus. Norris Walker currently serves as a Director on the Niagara College Foundation.

Brock University
Walker Industries' strong relationship with Brock commenced in the '60s when the Brock first became established.  Since then, Walker Industries has been a constant supporter and Norris Walker has been instrumental in Co-Chairing the "Good, Better, Brock!" Campaign to raise $29.62 million dollars.  Norris has served on the Board of Trustees since 1993 and is currently their Vice-Chair.

In 1998, Walker Industries established a scholarship to be awarded to a student who is entering their first year of study at Brock and who is a child of an employee of Walker Industries.  If no such student is eligible, then the award shall be made to a student who is entering their first year of study and who is a resident of Niagara. 

To honour the Walker Family's ongoing support, Brock University named their new multi-use recreational facility the "Walker Complex".
