Granular sealing is a form of erosion protection on a granular surface.  There is normally one of the following three types of material used in granular sealing.  There is an emulsified asphalt primer, asphalt cutback materials known as MTO primer, or there is RC-30 that can be used.  Each of these products is regulated by MTO Specifications as to the application rates, and the surface and weather conditions at the time of application.  These products are applied with our computerized distributors to provide a uniform and accurate application.  The distributor is also equipped with a hand spray wand for tight areas and around guardrails.
