As part of the site's Environmental Management System various environmental issues are frequently monitored at the site. Monitoring includes annual tank integrity testing to ensure tanks are in good operating order, regular site inspections to confirm environmental compliance, use of double walled vacuum tank for the storage of materials/products and placement of all tanks within a bermed area to contain any possible spills. These activities integrated with best environmental management practices help Norjohn Emulsions keep its commitment to the community, environment and tomorrow's generations.
Under the Ontario Ministry of the Environment's Air Monitoring and Reporting Regulation, Ontario industries are required to annually calculate and report air emissions from their facilities. This program requires our site to calculate emissions using an emissions modeling software program. Norjohn Emulsions has made this report available through this web page.
