Niagara Waste Systems Limited, Norjohn Transfer Systems and Woodington Systems are active members of the Ontario Waste Management Association. The Ontario Waste Management Association, founded in 1977, speaks for nearly 300 independent companies in the private sector who provide the products and services for a better environment. OWMA business is to protect the environment through the proper management of waste and recyclable materials. In addition to being members staff of Niagara Waste also serve as members on the Environmental Affairs Committee, Landfill Committee, Waste Diversion Committee, Hazardous Waste Committee and Public Affairs Committee .



Niagara Waste Systems Limited, Norjohn Transfer Systems and Woodington Systems are also members of the Municipal Waste Integration Network (MWIN). MWIN is a group of concerned municipal and industry representatives from all sectors of the waste management business that have come together to build the Municipal Waste Integration Network. MWIN is for everyone responsible for delivering municipalities waste management services from household hazardous waste depots to landfills; collection, processing, disposal services and professional services, such as selling equipment or products to support the waste management industry. MWIN provides municipalities with a strong base of stakeholders from within the municipal waste management industry ready and willing to provide an effective voice to government
