Co-op Opportunities
Walker Industries is committed to working with post secondary institutions to provide co-op placements in our areas of operations. Some of the students that have had placements in the past have been studying in the following areas:
- Accounting
- AutoCAD
- Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Office/Administration
- Quality Control
Seasonal Employment
Many of our operations experience seasonal fluctuations in staffing requirements. Typically the period between May and October is our busiest time of year. As a result, we often have staffing requirements during this period. Some of the positions that may become available include:
- Equipment Operators (Rollers, Pavers, Loaders, Backhoes, Graders)
- General Labourers
- Property Maintenance (painting containers, facilities)
- Experienced Truck Drivers (AZ and DZ licenses)
