Job Description:
This is a full time role reporting to the Operations Supervisor. We work 12 hour days, between 50 – 60 hours per week. The working season is weather dependent and there may be a period of layoff during the winter. This role requires you to travel for a week at a time, with the company covering all costs of travel and accommodation.

Job Duties/Scope:
As our new grinder operator, you’ll work on a team (and sometimes on your own) traveling to sites where our services are needed to grind trees, wood and other large organic materials.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Screening plant experience is an asset.
• AZ license is an asset.
•  A willingness to work in various locations and travel to job sites will be essential.
• Willing to complete a criminal background record as a condition of employment
• Have a valid G driver’s license.
• Have a driving record free of any charges.
• Able to handle periods of physical manual labour that are crucial to the completion of the work, including the ability to lift 50lbs and walking on uneven ground.

Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or GED
