Walker Aggregates Celebrates Duntroon Quarry Expansion

More than 100 neighbours, friends, politicians, Walker board members, employees and consultants came to a reception to celebrate the official opening of the Duntroon Quarry expansion on October 22, 2015. A ribbon was cut at the entrance to the tunnel that will be used to truck rock from the expansion area to the processing plant on the floor of the existing Duntroon Quarry. The tunnel will be completed later this fall and runs under County Road 91, west of Duntroon.
