Orillia (Severn) Quarry

Severn Quarry is located on the Cardin Plain, north of Orillia. This quarry has been operating since 1999. The Bobcageon and Gull River formations are being extracted to supply the local asphalt, concrete, and road construction industry.

We predominately process this high quality resource into concrete and asphalt stones. Limestone products range from large armour stone ( 5+ tonnes ) to Limestone fines.
Limestone’s natural beauty and durability make it a popular choice for other markets such as home construction, erosion control, and landscape projects.

The rehabilitation plan for this property is to side slope the walls with overburden and allow the quarry to fill with water for recreational and natural activities.
