Acceptable Materials

Acceptable waste at the Burlington Drop-Off Location include:

• Household waste, furniture, mattresses
• Construction & Demolition materials
• Scrap Metal
• Drywall, shingles, PVC and ABS pipe
• Soil, sod, dirt from residences
• Recyclables (newspaper, cardboard, glass, cans, plastics)
• Leaf & yard waste and natural wood
• Used clothing & articles

This location does not accept the following items:

• white goods (dehumidifiers, refridgerators, air conditioners)
• liquid wastes
• paint cans
• propane tanks
• Household hazardous waste (HHW) - including batteries

Pricing Information:

The Weigh Scale Tipping Fee is $142/tonne including HST
(minimum $10.00 charge plus $2.00/ 10kg over 70kg).

Special Price Material include:

• Passenger Tires - $5 per (plus weight charge)
• Truck Tires - $11 per (plus weight charge)

The Residential Drop-Off currently accepts Cash, MasterCard, Visa & Interac.
