Acceptable Materials

Acceptable waste at the Niagara Drop-Off Location include:

• Household waste, furniture, mattresses
• Appliances; (see special price material for appliances with CFC’s)
• Construction & Demolition materials
• Scrap Metal
• Drywall, shingles, PVC and ABS pipe
• Soil, sod, dirt
• Recyclables (see list below)

No Charge Recyclables include:

• Blue Box Material (newspaper, cardboard, glass, cans, plastics)
• Residential leaf & yard waste
• Electronics - Display Devices, Computers, Printers/Peripherials (limit 5 per category)
• Used clothing & articles
• Passenger car and light truck tires without rims (limit of 8 tires per vehicle)
• Batteries (lithium & alkaline)

Pricing Information:

The Weigh Scale Tipping Fee is $102.40/tonne, plus HST (minimum $10.00 charge).

Special Price Material include:

• Appliances with CFC’s - $25 each
• Concrete/Asphalt (no rebar) - $10/tonne flat rate
• Tree Stumps - $100/tonne
• Clean Wood - $65.50/tonne
• Shingles - $68.00/tonne
• Contractor Leaf and Yard Waste - $65.50/tonne

The Residential Drop-Off currently accepts Cash, MasterCard, Visa & Interac.
